JAKARTA: PT Trilinium, former owner of the mobile phone retailer, PT Global Teleshop Inc., intends to buy 90% stake of PT Karyamegah Adijaya, the owner of Aora TV.
The plan was contained in the announcement of directors of Karyamegah and Trilinium published in the newspaper on Friday (08/03/2012).
"If there are creditors who are objected to the transfer of such shares, then the creditors may file a written objection within 14 days after the announcement," said the company.
The announcement also indicates that a written objection must also be accompanied by reasons and supported evidences. However, the purchase nominal of 90% was not showed.
Aora TV is a TV cable operator owned Rini Soemarno Suwandi and Ongki Soemarno, based on the description of Wikipedia.
Before using the name of Aora TV in 2008, the company already operates using Citra TV since 2003.
On the other hand, Trilinium already obtained funds worth US$100 million from the sale of Global Teleshop to another mobile phone retailer, PT Trikomsel Oke Tbk earlier this year, before the Global Teleshop listed its shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
Trikomsel’s financing was categorized as material transaction taken from rights issue proceeds and mandatory convertible bonds (OWK).(T03)
