JAKARTA: The Sunan Hotel Solo plans to provide additional 84 new rooms, 2 function halls, president suite, suite, and junior suite on 7th floor.
According to The Sunan Hotel Solo General Manager Dicky Sumarsono, the hotel construction has been started on June 2012 with the groundbreaking by Sunarti Wisnu Suhardono as the hotel owner.
“By the additional rooms, The Sunan Hotel will have a total of 212 rooms,” he said in a press conference received by Bisnis, Monday, June 25, 2012.
Dicky said the rapid hotel development in Solo requires readiness to always improve and increase competitiveness to survive in the market. He continued the Sunan Hotel Solo has been known as the only hotel in Solo which have potential as convention and entertainment hotel.
Moreover, he added that the hotel located in the center of the city has more than 75% occupation rate. Additional rooms and meeting rooms project are scheduled to be completed by February 2013.
Dicky also said that this hotel will be organizing a number of activities during this year, such as Perdoski VIII (SMF Dermatology & Venereology) national seminar, medical symposium, and the Federation for Asian Cultural Promotion Conference. (T07/aph)
