Susie Air Wreck Found, 2 Australian Dead

JAKARTA: Susie Air PK WQ plane wreck has been found in Ritan, Tabang district, Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan.

 

Head of Information Data Center and Public Relations of National Disaster Relief Agency Sutopo Purwo Nugroho reported 2 people were dead in the incident occurred last night at 1:30 a.m. Central Indonesia Time.

 

"The incident location was next to PU street [ridge] on Ritan, Tabang district, Kutai regency, East Kalimantan," he said in a statement this morning, April 26, 2012.

 

He explained that Regional Disaster Relief Agency (BPBD) Kukar, BPBD East Kalimantan, Tabang police, Tabang Military District Command, East Kalimantan Mobile Brigade, search and rescue agency, and local residents were still evacuating the wreck.

 

"Currently, two died victim were found, one with the name Jonnatan Willis written on his shirt pocket and the other was Rosel born on January 27, 1955, both were Australian," he explained.
