JAKARTA: Air search and rescue (SAR) team has reportedly found the white ruins of Sukhoi Superjet100 in the cliff of Salak mountain, located in Cidahu, Bogor regency, West Java.
According to the data of Bisnis, the height of Gunung Salak is 2.211 meters from the sea level.
The picture was shown by SAR at a press conference in Halim Perdanakusumah, East Jakarta, Thursday, May 10, 2012 shows the airplane’s ruins scattered in a cliff. The cliff looks brown in the center where the ruins found, while the right and left sides still are green
The ruins are many and there are small and large ruins. “From above we can see the ruins and the logo of Sukhoi,” said Head of Indonesia’s National Search and Rescue Agency Marshall Daryatmo.
The photo of the ruins looks small as it was taken from a distance. The body color of the Russian commercial airplane is dominated by white. (T03/msw)
