JAKARTA: PT Semen Gresik Tbk will distribute dividends at IDR331 a share or IDR1.96 trillion, which is equivalent to 50% of net profit in 2011.
“The shareholders also agreed to allocate 1% or IDR39.25 billion for partnership program and 0.5% or IDR19.63 billion for environmental development program,” Semen Gresik Dwi Sutjipto said on Tuesday (6/26/2012).
As earlier reported, the state-owned cement producer booked a higher net profit by 8.04% to IDR3.93 trillion compared to IDR3.63 trillion in previous year.
Such increase was in line with 14.18% growth in revenue to IDR16.38 trillion from IDR14.34 trillion.
As of first quarter 2012, Semen Gresik’s net profit grew 16.04% to IDR1.01 trillion from IDR870.89 billion, while its revenue grew 20.55% to IDR4.28 trillion from IDR3.55 trillion.
In today’s trading, the SMGR-coded share was closed higher by 0.44% to IDR11,300 and created market capitalization of IDR67.03 trillion. (T06/aph)
