JAKARTA: Premium revenue of new business PT Prudential Life Assurance (Prudential Indonesia) grew 43.7% to IDR4.9 trillion from IDR3.4 trillion. PT Prudential Life Assurance is a joint venture with initial assets as much as IDR35 trillion.
One of the driving factors of the business improvement is the increasing number of Prudential's sales agents.
Up to June 2012, Prudential had 181, 198 marketing agents, rose 59.7% than 113.486 in June 2011.
Number of customers grew by 25.2% to 1.5 million from 1.2 million policyholders. Total assets under management up 20.5% to IDR31, 3 trillion from IDR26 trillion (year on year/y-o-y).
Following the growing business, assets rose by 24.7% to IDR35.5 trillion per June 201. (T05/aph)
