JAKARTA: PT Pos Indonesia is eyeing IDR180 billion profit this year or 20% higher than last year achievement following its plan to enter real estate business.
Revenue is also expected to increase by 11% to IDR3.4 trillion from IDR3 trillion, said President Director I Ketut Mardjana.
“We enter real estate business this year.”
The company has property assets located in prime locations but its utilization rate is still low, he stated.
The company is planning to construct two hotels in Bandung this year. it will be constructed on PT Pos Indonesia land in the city.
The company will soon establish a unit, PT Pos Properti Indonesia, to manage the new business line.
PT Pos Indonesia is eyeing 10% money transfer transaction this year from 2.2 million migrant workers in Malaysia using premium international package in cooperation with Pos Malaysia Berhad. (t05/msw)
