JAKARTA: PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk, a superblock developer, acquired PT Bali Perkasa Sukses amounting IDR256 billion to start developing hospitality business in Bali, Indonesia.
President Director Agung Podomoro Land Trihatma Kusuma Haliman said Bali Perkasa has a land bank of 4.5 ha in Seminyak, Bali which will be developed into hotel.
“The strong demand in tourism industry from domestic and international has changed Bali into second potential city in Indonesia,” he said in an official statement today (12/7/2012).
Trihatma said the hotel will be developed with five or four star concept. Meanwhile, he said the hotel will has 200 to 400 rooms.
The project, as he said, is an opportunity for the company to realize recurring income.
“We have signed the acquisition agreement for purchasing 51% in Bali Perkasa,” he said. (T03/faa)
