Pelindo III adds new facilities

SEMARANG: PT Pelindo III unit in Tanjung Emas add six units of China-made Rubber Tyred Gantry as a way to complete facilities at Semarang Container Terminal (TPKS).

The new six RTGs is also to meet Master Plan for the Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesia's Economic Development (MP3EI) program as set by Indonesia government for Java, said TPKS’ General Manager Sumarzen Marzuki.

“The six RTGs are now at TPKS. Happy Buccaneer ship delivered it from China,” he said today, May 7, 2012.

Dismantling of the six RTGs ships will be conducted out of a tight schedule

PT Pelindo III invested trillion rupiah for the implementation of MP3EI in its working area.

Three out of six economic corridors in Indonesia are under the company’s working area namely Java, Kalimantan and Bali-Nusa Tenggara. (sut)
