JAKARTA: PT Pelindo II pocketed IDR2.99 trillion in the first six months of 2012, rose 41.09% when compared to the same period last year.
Such hike was the result of infrastructures and services improvement at 12-under management ports, said President Director RJ. Lino.
“Besides bigger revenue, our earnings before tax also increased by 44.92% to IDR1.40 trillion than last year position at IDR970 billion,” said Lino in a press conference today (7/16/2012). Income from land lease at the port increased by 37.73% to IDR368.88 million.
Such improvement was due to increasing flow of containers in the first half by 18.52% to 3.58 million TEUs. Containers flow at Tanjung Priok Port contributed 80% of total growth by 3.28 TES or rose 20.28%. (T05/TW)
