JAKARTA: Jakarta Composite Index decreased 10.73 points or 0.26%to 4,091.80 in midday break, Tuesday August 14, 2012. Rupiah exchange rate was stagnant at 9,494 per US dollar.
Among 451 stocks listed on the index, 67 stocks rose, 127 stocks decreased, and 257 stocks unchanged.

Seven out of nine sectors of the index gave negative movement, led by infrastructure and finance sectors. Meanwhile, two sectors which gave positive contribution were trade and miscellaneous industries sectors.
An Index released by Bisnis Indonesia, Bisnis-27 Index also decreased by 0.36% or 1.24 points to 347.29. (T07/TW)
