BEKASI: Cosmetic and herbal products producer PT Martina Berto Tbk starts constructing its new factory in industrial zone of Cikarang, Bekasi, West Java on Monday April 23 2012 indicated by laying a first stone by Industry Minister M.S. Hidayat.
The construction of the new factory becomes the third expansion of Martha Tilaar Group after establishing similar factories in industrial zone of Pulogadung, East Jakarta and Gunung Putri, Bogor.
Expectedly, the new factory will produce cosmetic and herbal products by applying green-factory concept and will be aimed to cover growing export demand every year.
Totally, the factory will be stood on 10-hectare land with IDR44 billion investment, revealed Chief Executive Officer of PT Martina Berto Tbk Bryan Tilaar.
Later, the factory will be encircled by Kampoeng Djamoe Organik which will be planted by 30,000 kinds of herbal, cosmetic, and aromatic plants. “We are optimistic for the factory to complete in the second quarter of next year,” he said. (t01/aph)
