JAKARTA: Opening today’s trading day, Jakarta Composite Index increased 15.41 point, or 0.38%, to 4025.20, while rupiah noted at 9508, decreased 5 points or 0.05% against US dollar.
The index moved within the range of 4005.20-4032.85. Among 451 members, 57 shares increased, 50 decreased and 344 stagnant.
Astra International led today's gain with +2.30 points to IDR6450,followed by Bank Mandiri with +1.31 point to IDR7450, Unilever Indonesia with +1.30 to IDR22850 and United Tractors with +0.85 to IDR21300.
Media Nusantara hold from further growth with -0.79 points to IDR2300, followed by Bank Negara Indonesia with -0.52 point to IDR3800, Jasa Marga with -0.39 to IDR5650 and Bank Internasional Indonesia with -0.32 to IDR405.
Eight sectoral indices gave positive contribution motored by finance with 27.05%, miscellaneous industry with +22.44% and consumer goods with +18.86%.
In line with JCI, Bisnis-27 increased 1.95 point or 0.58% to 339.85 from yesterday’s closing level at 337.89. The index moved within the range of
337.69-340.17.
For regional sectors, Japan’ Nikkei 225 -0.42% to 8472.62,Hong Kong’ Hang Seng -2.99% to 19053.47, Taiwan’ Taiex -0.59% to 6988.11, South Korea’ Kospi -0.31% to 1784.20, Australia’ S&P/ASX 200 -0.07% to 4126.20, Singapore’ FTSE Straits Times +0.64% to 3001.62 and MSCI Asia +0.09% to 761.53.
