JAKARTA: Opening today’s trading day, Jakarta Composite Index reached 3838.38.
JCI decreased -0.44 point or -0.01% at 9:45 Jakarta time than yesterday’s closing level at 3832.82. The index moved within the range of 3805.84-3836.75.
Among 443 members, 26 shares increased, 86 decreased and 331 stagnant.
Bank Rakyat Indonesia led today's reduction with -4.18 points to IDR5500, followed by Astra International with -4.16 points to IDR63400, Indocement Tunggal with -2.31 points to IDR17250 and United Tractor with -1.28 to IDR22800.
Bank Central Asia hold from further decline with +2.79 points to IDR7100, followed by Gudang Garam with +1.43 point to IDR54750, Telekomunikasi Indonesia with +1.15 point to IDR7850 and XL Axiata with +0.97 point to IDR6000.
Five sectoral indices gave positive contribution motored by mining with +65.22% and finance with +65.09%, consumer goods with +46.02%.
In contrast, Bisnis-27 increased +0.99 point or +0.31% to 322.39 from yesterday’s closing level at 318.47. The index moved within the range of 315.90-319.88.
For regional sectors, Japan' Nikkei 225 -0.74% to 8479.12, Hong Kong’ Hang Seng +0.24% to 18669.18, Taiwan’ Taiex -1.28% to7207.06, South Korea’ Kospi -0.32% to 1836.87, Australia’ S&P/ASX 200 -0.32% to4063.20,Singapore’ FTSE Straits Times -0.65% to2754.47 and MSCI Asia -0.27% to 758.09.
Noted at 9465, decreased 65 points or -0.69% against US dollar from yesterday closing at 9400. The currency moved within the range of9439-9575. (tw)
