JAKARTA: The government through the Ministry of Enterprise letter S194/MBU/D5/2012 instructed two state-controlled pharmaceutical companies, PT Indofarma Tbk and PT Kimia Farma Tbk, to prepare a joint business plan.
Indofarma Corporate Secretary Ahdia Amini said this business plan will be the basis in determining the scheme two companies merger for the establishment of state-owned pharmaceutical holding.
Previously, PT Mandiri Securities, which previously assigned as a financial advisor, has offered a number of options such as merger scheme and holding establishment, in which Kimia Farma designated as the holding company since in has greater assets than Indofarma. (T07/aph)
