JAKARTA: PT Mega Capital Indonesia has targeted to record total sale of retail sukuk (Islamic-principal-based bond/Sukri) to IDR1 trillion until next year by re-participating to be a sale agent for Sukri SR005 by next year.
Mega Capital President Director Nanny Susilowati said the management expects to obtain a sale portion of SR005 by IDR400 billion. In the meantime, until today, the sale of sukri has been recorded to IDR600 billion totally.
So far, Mega Capital had sold sukri since 2010 from SR002, SR003, to SR004. In the meantime, the investment company has sold SR004 to IDR248.9 billion of total sale valued by IDR13.6 trillion by 24 sale agents appointed by the government.
“Actually, we ask twofold portion for sale of SR004 considering twofold subscribe coming to us,” Nanny revealed. (t01/aph)
