MARKET MOVING: Kimia Farma eyes a IDR400 billion loan facility

JAKARTA: PT Kimia Farma Tbk is eyeing loan facility at a maximum of IDR400 billion from state-owned banks or private banks.

The new President Director of Kimia Farma, Rusdi Rosman said the loan will be used to support funding for business expansion.

“Total fund for grand design development is IDR1.3 trillion, while rights issue proceeds is only between IDR700 billion and IDR900 billion. The rest will be covered by bank loan facility,” he said yesterday.

Currently, as he said, there are several banks which offering loan facilities, such as OCBC NISP, Bnak of Tokyo, BCA and Bukopin. However, he could not give certainty on the form of the loan facility, whether it will be in form of syndicated loan or not, as the company is still calculating the needs.(T03/msw)
