JAKARTA: PT Angkasa Pura I is cooperating with ExecuJet Aviation Group from Switzerland to build special terminal for private jet in Ngurah Rai Airport in Denpasar and Sepinggan Airport in Balikpapan.
Such facility is known as General Aviation Terminal that will specifically serve non-regular flight, very-very important person (VVIP), very important person (VIP), and private jet flight.
PT Angkasa Pura (API) I President Director Tommy Soetomo signed the Memorandum of Cooperation with ExecuJet Aviation Group (EAG) Managing Director Asia Graeme Duckworth and witnessed by AP I President Commissioner Tundjung Inderawan in Jakarta on Thursday, May 31, 2012.
The construction of GA Terminal is expected to complete before the end of 2013, pursuing the momentum of APEC 2013 in Bali.
"As preparation, AP I and EAG will prepare feasibility studies, planning design and supporting facilities, planning service operation, and business scheme for GA Terminal,” Tommy added. (T06/TW)
