JAKARTA: PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk plans to implement sustainable public offering (PUB) of bonds valued at IDR1.5 trillion in the form of conventional bonds and mudharabah sukuk (Islamic principle based bond).
Corporate Secretary of Adhi Karya Kurnadi Gularso revealed that both bonds will be issued in stages within 3 years, starting from this year, with the early stages worth IDR750 billion.
"We are right there and sukuk bonds worth a total of IDR500 billion, which will mature in July, we will refinance with a new sukuk (Islamic bond) and bond in this year," he told Bisnis yesterday.
However, the company has not yet determined the composition of bonds and sukuk valuing at IDR750 billion. Adhi Karya has appointed two securities as underwriters of the bond issuance. They are PT Danareksa Sekuritas and PT OSK Nusadana Securities.
In addition to refinance the maturing debt, the remaining funds which were taken from the issuance of bonds and sukuk this year valued at Rp250 billion will be used by the company to expand in property business.(T03/aph)
