JAKARTA: Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) slipped 0.74% in closing session at 16:18 local time, while rupiah exchange rate also weakened 0.43% or 41 points to IDR9,505 per US$.
The index declined 31.38 points to 4,223.89 after moving in range of 4,198.89-4,249.43. Among 453 members, 76 shares rose, 165 shares fell, and 212 shares were stagnant.

All nine sectoral indices gave negative contribution, led by finance with -23.36%, consumer goods with -18.00%, and mining with -17.71%.
Likewise, Bisnis-27 Index also slipped 0.65% or 2.34 points to 358.49 after moving in range of 356.77-360.34.
