JAKARTA: Jakarta Composite Index slipped 0.29% in closing session at 16:23 local time, while rupiah weakened 2 points or 0.02% to IDR9,469 per US$.
The index rose 11.87 points to 4,130.46 after moving in the range of 4,103.46 – 4,134.00.
Among 451 members, 108 shares increased, 137 shares declined, and 206 shares were unchanged.

Five of nine sectoral indeces gave negative contribution motored by consumer goods with -88.41% and basic industry and chemical with -60.25%. Meanwhile, the remaining four sectors were positive, led by miscellaneous industry with +38.19% and mining with +30.57%.
Bisnis-27 Index also declined 1.46 points or 0.41% to 351.89. The index moved within the range of 348.88 – 352.56.
