JAKARTA--Indonesia' rupiah noted at 9398, increased 51 points or +0.54% against US dollar from yesterday closing at 9449. The currency moved within the range of 9385-9468.

JCI increased +26.49 points or 0.70% at 4:00 p.m. Jakarta time than yesterday's closing level at 3791.61. The index moved within the range of 3744.69-3827.04.

Among 444 members, 138 shares increased, 94 decreased and 212 stagnant.

Bank Mandiri led the gain with +5.27 points to IDR7000, followed by Telekomunikasi Indonesia with +4.60 points to IDR7900, Charoen  Pokphand with +2.34 to IDR2800 and Perusahaan GAs Negara with +2.08 to IDR3400.

Astra International hold from further growth with -2.31 points to IDR6600, followed by Unilever Indonesia with -2.18 points to IDR22450, United Tractors with -1.92 points to IDR21800 and Bank Central Asia with -1.39 to IDR7100.

Six sectoral indices gave positive contribution motored by mining with +30.09%, infrastructure, utility and transportation with +28.87% and finance with +25.16%.
   
In line with JCI, Bisnis-27 increased 2.89 points or 0.91% to 321.22 from yesterday's closing level at 318.33. The index moved within the range of 317.01-322.13.

For regional sectors, Japan' Nikkei 225 +0.01% to 8569.32, Hong Kong' Hang Seng +2.26% to 19233.94, Taiwan' Taiex +1.14% to 7155.83, South Korea' Kospi +0.71% to 1858.16, Australia' S&P/ASX 200 +0.37% to 4057.33, Singapore 'FTSE Straits Times +1.34% to 2811 and MSCI Asia +1.28% to 770.64.(T05/ra)
