JAKARTA: Mandala Airlines increased Jakarta–Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta–Medan flight frequency starting from June 2012.
Mandala Airlines President Director Michael Coltman said the additional flight frequency is to meet the businessmen and travelers demands using this route.
He continued, the flights between Jakarta and Medan are operating 14 times per week.
"The additional flight schedule is in line with our plans to expand the network to address the passengers needs," he said in a press statement received by Bisnis, Thursday (6/14/2012).
Coltman explained the service availability from Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta–Medan is completed with competitive rates, friendly service and on time commitment.
Currently, the flight fares from Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur are available from IDR249,900, and Jakarta to Medan are available from IDR199,900.
According to Coltman, Mandala Airlines' business strategy is to develop a network to reach out international or domestic destination in 5 hours flight from Indonesia.
Up until now, the airline operates three services between Jakarta – Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta – Medan and Medan – Singapore. (T07/TW)
