JAKARTA: The largest pharmaceutical company in South East Asia, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk completed the acquisition of 100% shares in PT Hale International, a beverage producer with widely-known brand Original Love Juice.
Director and Corporate Secretary of Kalbe Farma Vidjongtius said the final acquisition value was IDR93.9 billion or fell from IDR100 billion.
“The acquisition is the strategic measure for Kalbe to have ready to serve and healthy beverage,” he said in official statement on Tuesday (10/7/2012).
He is optimistic on the acquisition of Hale may accelerates the company’s plan to market healthy beverage which has promising market.
Vidjongtius also expects the healthy beverage division will contribute 25% or IDR160 billion from the company’s total sales within the next 2 or 3 years. (T03/TW)
