JAKARTA: Jakarta Composite Index gained more strength this midday break by adding 5.21 points or 0.13% to 4,059.54. The index moved within the range of 4,052.13-4,065.70.
Among 442 stocks listed on the index, 82 stoks rose, 94 stokes fell, and 266 stocks were stagnant. 6 of 9 sectors of index gave positive movement led by miscellaneous industries, basic industries, and trade sector.
Several stocks gave positive contribution were Astra International with +1.03% to IDR73,860, Semen Gresik (Persero) adding 3.69% to IDR12,659, Unilever Indonesia up 0.76% to IDR 19,950, and United Tractor adding 1.01% to IDR29,900.
Meanwhile Indo Tambah Megah hold the index with -2.34% to IDR41,750, followed by Telekomunikasi Indonesia down 0.72% to 6,850, Gudang Garam -0.89 to IDR55,800, and Adaro Energi Tbk down 1.52% to IDR1,940.
Bisnis-27 also rose 1.16 points or 0.34% to 346.01 after moved within the range of 344.64 - 346.84.
