JAKARTA: Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) increased +28.40 point at 12:00 Jakarta time than yesterday’s closing level at 4163.64. The index moved within the range of 4163.45-4199.66.
Among 443 members, 113 shares increased, 106 decreased and 224 stagnant.
Bank Mandiri led this midday gain with +250 to IDR7250, followed by Bank Central Asia with +300 to IDR8200, Bank Negara Indonesia with +150 to IDR4025 and Semen Gresik with +300 to IDR12,250.
Bank Mayapada hold from further growth with -525 to IDR2,175, followed by Bumi Serpong with -40 to IDR1,420, Tambang Batubara with -250 to IDR18.300 and Astra International with -150 to IDR70,750.
Five sectoral indices gave positive contribution motored by finance with +57.83%.
In line with JCI, Bisnis-27 increased 2.63 points or 0.75% to 352.81 from yesterday’s closing level at 350.18. The index moved within the range of 350.11-354.15.
IDX 30 noted at 360.71, rose 3.36 points or +0.94% than yesterday' closing level at 357.34. The index moved within the range of 357.32-361.71.
For regional sectors, Japan’ Nikkei 225 -0.22% to 9539.69,Hong Kong’ Hang Seng +0.34% to 20716.97, Taiwan’ Taiex -0.50% to 7526.24, South Korea’ Kospi -0.17% to 1958.32, Australia’ S&P/ASX 200 +0.24% to 4370.80,Singapore’ FTSE Straits Times -0.10% to 2976.93 and MSCI Asia +0.32% to 838.56.
Indonesia’ rupiah noted at 9196, decreased 3 points or -0.03% from yesterday closing at 9199. The currency moved within the range of 9185-9199. (T05/aph)
