Indonesia stocks hold firm amid regional losses

JAKARTA: Jakarta Composite Index reached increased +4.47 point or 0.11% at 12:00 Jakarta time than yesterday’s closing level at 4181.84. The index moved within the range of 4175.91-4193.23.
 
 
Among 443 members, 116 shares increased, 114 decreased and 213 stagnant.
 
 
Elang Mahkota led this midday gain with +475 to IDR4500, followed by Gudang Garam with +1200 to IDR59650, Unilever Indonesia with +300 to IDR19400 and Bank Rakyat Indonesia with +50 to IDR7000.
 
 
Bank Mandiri hold from further growth with -100 to IDR7050, followed by Bumi Resources with -75 to IDR2075, Bank Central Asia with -50 to IDR7950 and Bayan Resources with -250 to IDR16250.
 
 
Four sectoral indices gave positive contribution motored by consumer goods with +128.74%.
 
 
In contrast with JCI, Bisnis-27 decreased -0.61 point or -0.17% to 352.71 from yesterday’s closing level at 353.33. The index moved within the range of 352.62-354.32.
 
 
For regional sectors, Japan’ Nikkei 225 -0.01% to 9560.45,Hong Kong’ Hang Seng -0.57% to 20891.90, Taiwan’ Taiex -0.49% to 7470.66, South Korea’ Kospi -0.20% to 1970.72, Australia’ S&P/ASX 200 -0.22% to 4356.90,Singapore’ FTSE Straits Times -0.27% to 2986.35 and MSCI Asia -0.46% to 837.80.
 

Indonesia’ rupiah noted at 9184, similar with yesterday closing level. The currency moved within the range of 9177-9189.(T05/aph)
