Government sets to bid ICT project in December

JAKARTA: Ministry of Communication and Information Technology will conduct tender for information and communications technology project from universal service obligation contribution this December.

The IDR1.5 trillion needed fund per year will be used to construct Palapa Ring backbone, content industry and other ICT projects.

The tender can be conducted after revision of Ministry of Communication and Information Decree No. 21 Year 2011 on ICT Fund complete, said the Ministry Official Gatot S. Dewa Broto. “Revision is expected to finish this mid-year.” (T05/aph)
