JAKARTA: The telecommunication solution provider, Fujitsu will develop airport solution products as one of company’s business development measure in Indonesia this year.
PT Fujitsu Indonesia President Director Achmad Sunuadji Sofwan said several Indonesian airports condition were very poor.
He said the product would be the solution for airport operational service. Airport Solution product will arrange the flight which the aerobridge changed suddenly. “When the aerobridge changed, it would be very difficult, we will provide programs to facilitate it,” he said.
In addition, he said Fujitsu will also develop airport information system as the demands rise.
However, Fujitsu has yet to disclose the product sales target. Currently, Fujitsu is socializing the program to airport management in several regions. “Soekarno-Hatta becomes our target for the first stage,” he said.
He said Fujitsu has been known as a service provider in telecommunications through a number of products such as server and personal computer.
A number of business lines have been developed, such as the financial services industry which includes financial supply chain management and managed file transfer. This year, Fujitsu will develop a number of business lines ranging from airport solution, enterprise asset management , codification solution, and public and safety solution Intergraph.
"We are aggressively socializing these products," he said.
He explained the company’s net profit reached 42.7 billion yen globally (equals to US$521 million) for April 1, 2011 – March 31, 2012 fiscal year.
This achievement was 7.7 billion yen higher than revised consolidation target announced on January 2012.
The company's revenue also exceeded projections by 5.3 billion yen, following company’s cost-cutting and austerity effort. (T07/aph)
