JAKARTA: PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk suffered IDR26.64 billion net loss in QI/2012, swing from IDR26.86 billion net profit on the same period last year.
Based on its financial report, the DOID-coded company noted decrease in gross profit margin to 11.44% from 18%.
Net income in QI/2012 recorded at IDR1.74 trillion, gross profit at IDR199.17 billion while in QI/2011 the company booked respectively IDR1.55 trillion and IDR278.85 billion.
Analyst from PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia Sujatmiko viewed the negative performance is amid internal issues. The rising production cost that led to smaller margin can be caused by high fuel price, he believed. (T05/msw)
