JAKARTA: PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk launched singing card as a medium for religious holidays and national holiday greetings in digital form through social networking.
The innovation on digital media use through social networks is an alternative communication that has existed before, such as printed media, billboards, and other communication media.
CIMB Niaga president director Arwin Rasyid said the communication through social networks is one of effective, efficient, and targeted communications as such media users increased.
The Company also launched a greeting video from CIMB Niaga in form of "singing card" that presents a choir group singing Religious Holidays and National Holidays themed songs.
"IDR1,000 will be donated for every singing card sold. The donation will be given to 10 selected orphanages," Arwen said during a press conference on Thursday (8/2/2012).
This singing card can be accessed via the CIMB Indonesia Facebook fanpage since August 1, 2012. One message can be delivered to 20 Facebook friends and can be done many times.
According to Arwin, this type of communication tends to be more memorable.Moreover, through this singing card, the message is personal. (T07/msw)
