JAKARTA-investors who wanted to acquire more than 40$ shares should agree to purchase securities from the bank or bail in principles.
As written on Ownership and Capital Structure regulation, to be issued this July, investors can acquire 99% of bank shares only if they agree to terms and conditions, said Bank Indonesia’s Deputy Governor Halim Alamsyah.
“Bank can has more than 40% shares if the meet the requirements and benefit Indonesia’s economy,” he said on Saturday, (6/23/2012).
The requirements, among others, are good health and efficiency condition as regulated by the central bank, public companyand should agree to buy securities. (T05/TW
