JAKARTA: PT Borneo Lumbung Energy & Metal Tbk is eyeing sales volume growth for 36.36% - 51.52% to be 4.5-5 million tons per year in 2012, following with the demand on coking coal.

Marketing Director of Borneo Energy Ken Allan said the sales volume in 2011 is predicted to reach 3.3 million tons per year. It is expected to increase to be 6 million tons in 2013 and 7.5 million tons in 2014.

“We hope sales volume to grow to be between 4.5 and 5 million tons per year in 2012. The biggest export is still China with 50%. The rest are Taiwan, Japan and Europe,” he said yesterday.

Ken said average selling price in 2011 was in the range of US$220-US$240 per ton and this year it will be down to US$200-US$210 per ton. (T03/NOM)
