JAKARTA: Vice President Boediono will be a ceremony inspector for the funeral of the late Sudomo in Hero’s Cemetery of Kalibata today.
An official website of vice president disclosed Boediono will lead the funeral ceremony of the late Sudomo commencing at 09.00 Jakarta time. Reportedly, he will be buried with a state process as a tribute to his services.
Former Commander of Operational Command for the Restoration of Security and Order (Pangkopkamtib) in Indonesia Armed Forces (Retiree) Sudomo passed away in the age of 86 years yesterday on Wednesday April 18 2012 at 10.00 Jakarta time in Pondok Indah Hospital, South Jakarta.
The former labor minister in the New Order regime had been hospitalized in Pondok Indah Hospital because of suspected bleeding in his brain. In addition, the former of Coordinating Minister for Politics and Security in the regime of President Soeharto had been hospitalized since Saturday on April 14.
The next agenda, Boediono will attend a limited cabinet meeting at 11.30 Jakarta time in Presidential Palace. Then, in the afternoon at 04.00 p.m he will hold a coordinating meeting with Development Acceleration Unit for Papua and West Papua (UP4B). (t01/aph)
