BHAKTI INVESTAMA pockets IDR7.71 trillion in revenue

JAKARTA: PT Bhakti Investama Tbk booked higher year-end revenue by 12.94% to IDR7.71 trillion compared to IDR6.83 trillion last year.

Based on the financial report published on Thursday, April 2011, most of the revenue was contributed from the growing revenue in media segment of content and advertisement by 12.94% to IDR5.32 trillion compared to previous year.

As for consumer-based media segment rose 23.09% from IDR1.41 trillion in 2010 to IDR1.74 trillion in the following year.

However, the comprehensive profit of the BHIT-coded company attributable to parent company narrowed to 45.32%. Such comprehensive profit reached IDR309.55 billion as of December 2011.

Thus, its net margin declined by 51.59% to 4.01% at the end of 2011 from 8.29% at the end of 2010. (T06/faa)
