JAKARTA: PT BCA Finance financing distribution slowed down near Lebaran holiday if compared with previous months.
"Usually during the fasting and near Eid the multifinance financing distribution was the higest, but in last July our sales was slightly declined," Roni Haslim, president director of BCA Finance, told Bisnis on Monday (8/13/2012).
He suspected that tere are several factors that affect the sales decline such as down payment increase policy, Indonesia’s macroeconomic decline, and the decreased commodity prices.
Moreover, the school holidays which was too close to the fasting month making the sales near the Lebaran holiday was slowed down. “There was no dominant factor, but it affects the decline in the sales during July,” he said.
Until the end of July, the company recorded a financing outstanding at IDR14.4 trillion, increased 35.84% from the previous year of which recorded IDR10.6 trillion. The performance was below the financing expansion up to semester I/2012 which increased 41.06% to IDR12.4 trillion. (T07/TW)
