JAKARTA: Board of Commissioners and Directors of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk will receive tantiem of IDR162.19 billion or equivalent to 1.5% from net profit in 2011.
“The shareholder meeting sets maximum tantiem of IDR162.29 billion. It’s also allowed if less than such maximum amount,” said BCA President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja after the shareholders’ meeting on Wednesday, May 16, 2012.
However, the meeting didn’t set the tantiem allotment for each member of commissioner and director. Such allotment will be decided by Farindo Investment as the major shareholder after examining each person’s performance.
Based on its amount, the tantiem allotment is equivalent to 1.5% from IDR10.8 trillion net profits in 2011.
It’s higher from last year’s tantiem of IDR105.99 billion or equivalent to 1.25% from IDR8.47 trillion net profits.
The company also uses 26% of the 2011 net profit for dividend payment, 1% as reserve, and the remaining as retained earnings. (T06/aph)
