JAKARTA: Shareholders of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk will take part in absorbing the first stage of bank subordinated bonds worth IDR800 billion. The shelf-registered bonds will be offered in June.
The bank and underwriters have not conducted any road show, said Director Andi Buchari.
There are some investors who already know the issuance plan, including the shareholders. “Our shareholders also want to have the bonds,” he said, Tuesday, May 1, 2012.
Bank Muamalat is planning to issue the first stage of subordinated bonds worth IDR800 billion as part of the shelf-registered bonds worth IDR1.5 trillion. The subdebt will due in 10 years with call option in the fifth year.
The sharia bonds will use akad mudharabah scheme with profit sharing as the underlying of the issuance.
Bank Muamalat has mandated the securities namely PT Bahana Securities as the lead underwriter with PT Danareksa and PT Indo Premier Securities as the member. (T05/msw)
