JAKARTA: PT Bank Muamalat Tbk booked 51.8% asset growth in 2011. The first sharia-based bank in Indonesia recorded IDR32.5 trillion total assets in 2011, rose 51.8% than 2010 at IDR21.4 trillion.
The figure is bigger than national banking assets growth at 21.4% and sharia banking at 49.2%. “Bank Muamalat market share also increases to 22.33% from 21.95%,” said President Director Arviyan Arifin, today.
Financing recorded at IDR22.47 trillion, rose 41.2% from IDR15.92 trillion. Third party fund increased 53.3% to IDR26.66 trillion. financing to deposit ratio noted at 85.2%.
Net profit recorded at IDR273.6 billion, jumped 60.1% than 2010’ IDR170.9 billion. “Net non-performing loan dropped to 1.78% from 3.51% in 2010.” (t05/aph)
