JAKARTA – PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk launched mobile branch service as an alternative for its customer in Greater Jakarta (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi).

Danamon Consumer Banking Director Michellina Triwardhany said the mobile branch is a pilot project.

“This year, we launched one unit of mobile branch. IN 2013, the mobile branch will reach Sumatra and Makassar,” she said during the launching of Danamon Mobile Branch, Thursday (21/6/2012).

She said the customers will be able to have a banking transaction in mobile branch such as cash deposits and withdrawals, opening savings accounts and time deposits, check disbursements, transfer, applying mortgage loan and credit cards, and western union money transfer service.

Danamon President Director Hendry Ho added it targeted the mobile branch amount will increase by three or five units. (T07/aph)
