JAKARTA: PT Asuransi Binagriya Upakara, a loss/general insurance company owned by Employees Wealth Foundation of PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk has targeted to scoop higher income almost by 35% to IDR11.36 billion this year from that in last year.
The higher income was supported by investment activities and underwriting income in last year, revealed by Asuransi Binagriya Upakara President Director Achmad Fauzie Darwis.
Through the audited financial statement, total investment last year grew by to IDR8.93 billion or 27.75% from IDR6.99 in 2010. The hike of total investment stayed higher by 25.75% to IDR155.93 billion in 2011 and 25.75% in IDR124 billion.
The great performance of income had been channeled to deposit instrument, securities, and direct participation.
In the meantime, the underwriting income also rose to IDR21.01 billion in 2011 from IDR19.44 billion in 2010. Meanwhile, total gross premium was booked higher to IDR61.885 billion from IDR55.283 billion. (t01/aph)
