JAKARTA: Anti-Corruption Commission (KPK) detained committee X of the representatives member Angelina Sondakh whom alleged for bribery in Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sport and Ministry of Education.
KPK spokesperson Johan Budi said the anti-corruption body will detain the former Miss Indonesia. Angie will be detained in Salemba Prison KPK branch located right under the KPK office.
“She will be detained in Salemba Prison KPK branch which located on KPK basement,” Johan said.
Based on monitoring by Bisnis, Angie left through KPK main door escorted by the police. The one-child woman was directly escorted to detention room located on KPK basement.
This was the first KPK investigation against Angie. This investigation has just been done after Angie named as a suspect two months ago, exactly on February 3, 2012.
Based on M. Nazarudin testimony, Angie had ever asked for money to Permai Group, a company owned by Nazarudin. The money was used to push Athlete’s house budget in Representatives. (T07/aph)
