JAKARTA: Ambano Janurianto replaced Hiramsyah S. Thaib as the President Director of PT Bakrieland Development Tbk.


Hiramsyah was moving to another company which is still under Bakrie Group. Meanwhile, Ambono is still responsible as the President Director of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk.


“Our focus is to bring Bakrieland to be more better than today,” Ambono said after General Meeting of Shareholders today Thursday (7/6).


He said his responsibility as President Director of Bakrie Sumatera Plantations will be decided in the next extraordinary general meeting of shareholders.


During 2011, operating profits of Bakrieland was down 3.6% to IDR232.9 billion, compared with the realization in 2010, which was IDR241.7 billion.


Meanwhile, the revenue increased 47.5% to IDR2.02 trillion from IDR1.37 trillion.


The gross profit of the company was recorded at IDR958.2 billion or up 43.2% compared with IDR669.3 billion last year. (T03/aph)
