JAKARTA: PT Aneka Kimia Raya Corporindo Tbk, a fuel distributor, booked higher sales by 18.08% to IDR5.14 trillion in first quarter 2012 compared to IDR4.35 trillion in the same period a year earlier.
Revenue from fuel distribution unit remains as the main contributor with IDR4.05 trillion or equivalent to 78.83% from consolidated revenue.
As for the sale of chemical substance only contributed IDR747.07 billion or equivalent to 14.53% from consolidated revenue.
Up to March 2012, its coal mining business unit recorded the highest growth by 3548.83% to IDR37.46 billion compared to IDR1.03 billion last year.
However, the net profit of the AKRA-coded company attributable to owners of the parent company dropped by 91,14% to IDR160.44 billion in first quarter this year from last year’s position of IDR1.81 trillion.
“In first quarter 2011, the company booked IDR1.69 trillion revenue from its subsidiary, PT Sorini Agro Asia Corporindo Tbk. It reflects from the net profit attributable to parent company worth IDR1.81 trillion,” said AKR Corporindo President Director Haryanto Adikoesoemoe in the press release on Thursday, April 26, 2012.
