JAKARTA: Fuel distributor and coal miner PT Aneka Kimia Raya Corporindo Tbk pay out final dividends amounted to IDR96.29 billion, equals to IDR25 a share.
AKR Corporindo Director Suresh Vembu said the dividend pay out ratio for 2011 fiscal year hit 59.85%, soared 52.25% compared to last year’s ratio of 39.2%.
"The ratio has increased this year due to profit from Sorbi last year. The company has paid out interim dividends last year, each IDR135 and IDR200 a share," he said after AKR Corporindo annual general meeting of shareholders in Jakarya, May 15, 2012.
Suresh added the funds amounted to IDR200 million from net profit were used for reserved funds. While the remaining funds as much as IDR920.49 billion were booked as retained earning and will be used as company’s working capital.
In the annual general meeting, the shareholders have approved to increase overall salary and/or allowance of board of commissioner as much as 25%.
