JAKARTA: PT Adi Sarana Armada, a transportation management company is reviewing the funding option through capital market to meet the demand for expansion fund.
According to Adi Sarana Armada President Director Prodjo Sunarjanto, the company is still reviewing several funding options.
"It can be through bond issuance, rights issue, and initial public offering (IPO). It took large amount of capital to develop the company which engaged in car rental services like this," he said in Jakarta, Monday afternoon (8/13/2012).
Adi Sarana Armada Director of Sales Operations Maickel Tilon said during 2008 to 2011 the number of vehicles owned by the company increased 30% per year. According to him, Adi Sarana will expand at the same level of growth this year.
Based on data from Adi Sarana, the number of vehicles owned by the company in 2007 reached 2,000 units and increased to 8,700 units by the end of last year. The number of fleet by June 2012 reached 9,800 units.
Maickel refused to disclose the amount of funds needed for the additional fleet this year. However, he mentioned that it takes around IDR200 million of investment for an additional fleet. (T07/msw)
